We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with orthopedic experience to join our team in Dallas, TX, working directly alongside a skilled orthopedic surgeon.
Position Overview:The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced PA who is passionate about musculoskeletal care and injury management. This role includes both clinical and procedural responsibilities in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will work closely with our orthopedic surgeon to deliver comprehensive care for patients with sports injuries, fractures, joint disorders, and other orthopedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial patient evaluations, follow-ups, and post-operative assessments
- Assist the orthopedic surgeon in clinical procedures and minor in-office surgeries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab results
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and rehabilitation
- Collaborate with physical therapists, case managers, and other team members
- Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in the EMR
- Support in workers compensation and personal injury cases, including documentation and communication with attorneys or case managers
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care, including dressing changes, splinting, casting, and suture removal
Qualifications:
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1–2 years of orthopedic or musculoskeletal experience required
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a supervising orthopedic surgeon
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems and orthopedic documentation
- Experience with workers compensation and personal injury cases a plus

Pay: $115,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
