Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Pediatric practice in Oak Cliff

Dallas, TX

Our clinic is located in the heart of Oak Cliff, near Methodist hospital in Dallas and with close access to major highways. We have very modern and comfortable installations, including the latest equipment and technology.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a PA/NP who is looking for a full time job, to join our thriving pediatric medical practice. We are experiencing a tremendous increase in patient volume on a daily basis, due to our stellar reputation and referrals from existing patients. Position responsibilities

  • Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
  • Contributes to a physician’s efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues.
  • Recommends options and courses of action for patient care.
  • Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient ancillary care services as appropriate.
  • Attends medical staff meetings when applicable.
  • Maintains professional relationships with patients, their parents, and staff.
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Performs basic therapeutic procedures such as but not limited to simple wound care, warts treatment, ear curettage, etc.
  • Instructs and counsels patients by providing normal growth and development information and providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living.
  • Provides community of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by maintain up-to-date- CME requirements as established by state regulations.
  • Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives.

Position requirements

  • BOARD certified
  • Texas licensed
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • 1+ years of experience in pediatric care (preferred, but willing to train)

Compensations/benefits

We offer a very competitive salary with healthcare benefits, incentive-based performance bonus, generous PTO, and CME reimbursement. There are no on-call hospital duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
