The Center for Sinus & Respiratory Disease at the Texas Institute is a specialty medical practice in Dallas, TX. Our clinic serves patients with ENT problems (ears, nose, & throat), with a special focus on sinus and nasal disease. Our mission is to provide outstanding specialty care using our outstanding training/experience combined with “outside the box” thinking. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other Audiology to provide exceptional patient. This position offers a mix of outpatient work including patient evaluations, development of streamlined patient flow strategies to maximize efficiency, numerous office based procedures including sinus and laryngeal endoscopy. Assisting the physician/surgeon in cases requiring an assistant.

Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and radiographs- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care- Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (We use Athena)- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work in a potentially fast-paced environment
Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures- Familiarity with health coaching techniques and patient education strategies- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting test results- Experience in allergy therapy, ENT research, or otolaryngology is a plus, Rhinology and sinus disease even more-so.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control measures- Experience working in a medical office setting is preferred

Pay: $102,598.76 – $133,559.79 per year
