Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with vascular and/or pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular, orthopedic, or pain management care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Ability to travel between Dallas and Garland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Order diagnostic testing such as ultrasound, CT, and x-rays as needed.
  • Monitor and manage patients’ progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to patient care.
  • Stay current with advances in vascular and/or pain medicine through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Current state Physician Assistant license
  • Previous experience in vascular care, orthopedics, and/or pain management is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
