OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments of patients.
  • Perform pain management procedures and assist in developing treatment plans.
  • Administer dermal fillers and other aesthetic treatments as required.
  • Phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing and manage specimen collection.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection.
  • Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
  • Provide occupational health services as needed, ensuring workplace safety for employees.

Experience

  • A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly within trauma or emergency care.
  • Familiarity with pain management techniques and protocols is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation methods and patient assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of discharge planning processes and occupational health practices is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.

Pay: From $100,144.00 per year
