OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, with a focus on hand disorders. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal hand disorders, emphasizing superior patient care. They must demonstrate strong clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through tailored treatment plans and ongoing support. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans for patients, utilizing your expertise in anatomy and various medical procedures.
Responsibilities
- No OR
- Conduct patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic team.
- Perform minor procedures such as casting, splinting, and joint injections.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and postoperative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
