Full Job Description

We are seeking a bright, energetic and friendly Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the heart of Dallas. Be part of this dynamic and respected Pain Management practice located near Presbyterian Hospital Dallas while working with an established physician who has a strong reputation for providing exceptional patient care.

Position Details:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 4:30 PM
  • A culture supportive of work/life balance.
  • eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR documentation system.
  • Pain management experience preferred but not required. Training offered in pain management with multi-modal approach and focus on excellent patient care.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellence in the completion of patient history and physical exams and assessments appropriate to patient population.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in charting of the history and physical and other notes on patient status in EMR.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, and maintain regular communication with patients, families, and primary care physicians as appropriate regarding progress and treatment plans.
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal, organizational skills and good team player.
  • Ability to work independently is required.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioners –

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
  • Experience in the following areas: Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management (Outpatient).

Physician Assistants –

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid Texas PA license and be in good standing at all times.
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
  • Experience in the following areas: Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management (Outpatient).
