Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare for our primary care, perioperative, and/or specialty patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status, including medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within the scope of practice
  • Provide patient education regarding preventive care, treatment options, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, facilitate referrals, and ensure seamless transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, etc.).
  • Holds an active DEA and Texas State License.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise
  • Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to prescribe medications appropriately.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficient documentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of certification.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements, including continuing education and licensure renewal.

Full-time, Salaried Position:

  • Quarterly bonuses given based on practitioner’s performance, as evaluated by the generation of work relative value units (wRVU).
  • Medical liability insurance, contracting with commercial insurances, and contracting with facilities covered, 100%.
  • 2 days of CME off per year, $750/year towards CME course and travel.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
