We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse Practitioners who can speak and understand spanish to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare for our primary care, perioperative, and/or specialty patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status, including medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within the scope of practice
- Provide patient education regarding preventive care, treatment options, and management of chronic conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, facilitate referrals, and ensure seamless transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, etc.).
- Holds an active DEA and Texas State License.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to prescribe medications appropriately.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficient documentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of certification.
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements, including continuing education and licensure renewal.
