Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of medical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong background in pain management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, skilled in assessing and managing pain-related conditions, and committed to providing evidence-based treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute pain conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, interventional procedures, and non-pharmacological therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Participate in utilization management activities to ensure appropriate resource use within the healthcare system.
- Offer specialized care in areas such as PICU.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Strong skills in IV insertion techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Experience with Botulinum toxin treatment procedures is a plus.
- Ability to ventilate patients effectively when necessary, demonstrating critical thinking under pressure.
- Familiarity with operating room (OR) environments is advantageous for surgical-related responsibilities.
- (PICU) standards is beneficial for those working with younger patients.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
