Position: Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care SpecialistLocation: Central TXJob Type: Part Time
Hours: Days – Monday through Friday
Work Location: on road
Pay: $60-$65/hr. commensurate with experience

Position Overview:This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making ameaningful difference in patients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized
treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to
ensure coordinated and effective wound care
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound
prevention, care techniques, and self-management
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing, adjusting treatment plans as
necessary
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in wound
care.
- Go to patients homes and facilities and work with HH and facility staff to give
proper orders
Requirements:
● Current state NP license and certification● Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities● Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team● Travel will be required to provide onsite and mobile wound care treatment
Preferred Qualifications:● Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound, Ostomy, and Continence NursingCertification)
● Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems● Knowledge of the latest wound care products and technologies
