Part-Time PA for Family Medicine Clinic
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time PA to join our reputable family medicine clinic. As a valued member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work mostly independently while maintaining effective communication with their supervising physician and patients.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans in alignment with family medicine principles.
– Perform routine medical procedures and minor office-based surgeries.
– Collaborate with the supervising physician to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with medical protocols.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
– Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in patient interactions, addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
– Educate patients on disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and well-being.
Qualifications:
– Valid PA license and certification in the state of Texas.
– Proven experience in family medicine or a related field, with excellent clinical skills.
– Ability to work independently, making confident decisions within the scope of practice.
– Outstanding communication skills to interact effectively with patients and collaborate with the supervising physician.
– Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant medical software.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, requiring approximately 27-30 hours per week. Specific scheduling details can be discussed during the interview. Hours will expand to full time with clinic growth.
