We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Primary Care and Med Spa team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering injectables (e.g., Botox, Dermal Fillers) and possess a strong passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. The NP will be responsible for assessing and treating a variety of health conditions, offering aesthetic treatments, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all patients. Job Duties:
- Patient Care and Assessment: Perform detailed physical exams and comprehensive patient assessments. Obtain medical histories, conduct screenings, and evaluate patients’ health conditions.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses. Develop treatment plans that include prescriptions, therapy, and recommendations for other services.
- Prescribing Medication: Prescribe medications and other treatments within the scope of practice as per state regulations and institutional policies.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, preventive care, treatment plans, and wellness strategies. Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, such as diet and exercise.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR).
- Preventive Health Care: Provide routine screenings, immunizations, and wellness checks to promote overall health and disease prevention.
- Aesthetics: Perform aesthetic services such as Botox and Dermal Fillers, while educating patients about their treatments.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest clinical practices, medical advancements, and healthcare regulations. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement projects when applicable.
- Medical weight loss and Hormone replacement therapy: You will assess, monitor, and adjust treatments to help patients achieve their health goals while providing ongoing support and education.
- IV Therapy: Closely monitor patient progress, adjusting fluids, nutrients, and medications as needed to optimize results.
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and managing common and complex conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Adequate in performing injectables.
- Confident with IV therapy and performing IV’s.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Primary care: 1 year (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required)
- Dermal fillers: 1 year (Required)
- Botox: 1 year (Required)
- IV therapy (Preferred)
- Medical weight loss (Preferred)
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (Preferred)
