Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, or Physician) to join our team at Timon’s Ministries. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in low-income communities by delivering comprehensive primary care services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
- Prescribing medications and treatments as appropriate.
- Providing patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, or Physician license in Texas.
- Experience working in primary care or a similar clinical setting is preferred (optional).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing culturally competent care to diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Empathy and compassion for patients facing socioeconomic challenges.
