Nurse Practitioner Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments/outpatient procedures, HRT trained, Weight Loss treatment protocols and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests.
  • Perform procedures such as specimen collection processing and sonography when necessary.
  • Utilize Cerner for electronic health record management and documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical-surgical practices and physiology knowledge.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
  • Functional Medicine and Aesthetic procedures will be a great addition to the above
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical-surgical principles.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their applications.
  • Experience with specimen collection processing is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Pay: $105,369.00 – $150,006.00 per year
