We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team. Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up. This individual will work closely with Dr. Vyas and the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with chronic and acute pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments.
· Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the physician, with the emphasis on interventions to manage pain conditions.
· Provide patient and family education related to multimodal treatment options, and preventive care.
· Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR).
· Ensure care is compassionate, patient-centered, and aligned with best clinical practices.
· Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with clinical and administrative staff.
· Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
· Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications
· Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)/ MPA – Required
· Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner/ PA – Required
· DEA License – Required
· Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/ PA in the state of Texas – Required
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Pain Management – Preferred
· New graduates with a strong interest in pain management are encouraged to apply.
· Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
· Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Schedule
· Full-Time: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
· Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm
· No nights, weekends, or inpatient rounding required
