Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including medical offices and senior care facilities and conduct house calls. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health history evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and evidence-based practices.
- Perform procedures such as tube feeding, phlebotomy, and other necessary interventions as required.
- Manage chronic conditions and provide care for acute illnesses in various settings, including ER environments.
- Utilize telehealth technologies to provide remote patient consultations and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and effective utilization review processes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, medication adherence, and preventive care practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards and documentation requirements.
- Provide support in senior care facilities, ensuring the highest quality of care for elderly patients.
- Lift and assist patients as needed during examinations or treatments.
- Aesthetic experience is a plus for this position.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in a medical office setting or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in telehealth practices and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift patients safely when necessary and perform physical assessments competently.
