Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team in Beaumont, Texas. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment, with a competitive salary based on experience. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical exams
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as necessary
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform minor medical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
For Nurse Practitioners (NPs):
- Active and unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
For Physician Assistants (PAs):
- Active and unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
For Both:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred (new graduates considered)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
