We are looking for a licensed Physician Assistant with great work ethics to join our wonderful team. - Prepare and update patient records through our EHR system and publish test results to our online medical care portal
- Treat patients for internal medicine ailments and order blood work and other tests as needed
- Establish rapport with patients and encourage them to talk with you candidly and frankly
- Provide advice on healthy habits and practices for patients based on their current health status
- Prescribe and refill medications as needed
- Provide referrals to specialists when required
- Assist practice physicians when needed
- Perform physical examinations/women’s wellness examinations
- Create treatment plan
- Confidence to work independently
- Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients
- Obtain and review patients’ medical histories
- Examine patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x rays or blood tests
- Diagnose a patient’s injury or illness
- Perform procedures
- Provide treatment, such as setting broken bones, stitching wounds, and immunizing patients
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on a variety of issues, such as treatment and self-care for asthma
- Prescribe medication
- Assess and record a patient’s progress
- Research the latest treatments to ensure quality of patient care

- Clinic hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm
- No hospital responsibilities or call.
- Clinical and back office support.
- EHR system used: E-mds

Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant License
- Medical office experience and patient care expertise
- Proficient in basic life support and health coaching
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Experience with patient assessment and administering injections
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and physical examinations
