Personique (sister companies), a reputable medical facility specializing in cosmetic treatments, hormone replacement, weight loss, and nutrition, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive care to patients seeking plastic surgery, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, and nutrition services.
– Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
– Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with the patient’s goals, medical condition, and desired outcomes.
– Perform various medical procedures, such as suture removal, wound care, and administering injections, under the supervision and guidance of physicians.
– Educate patients on surgical procedures, post-operative care instructions, hormone replacement therapy protocols, weight loss strategies, and nutrition plans.
– Provide counseling and guidance to patients on lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, and other interventions to support their overall health and well-being.
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and hormone level assessments.
– Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including scheduling surgeries, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation of patient progress.
– Stay informed about the latest advancements in plastic surgery, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, and nutrition to provide evidence-based care to patients.
Requirements:
– Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
– Current and unrestricted PA or NP license in Texas.
– Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a PA or NP, preferably in plastic surgery, hormone replacement, weight loss, or nutrition.
– Strong knowledge and understanding of plastic surgery procedures, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss strategies, and nutrition principles.
– Proficiency in performing clinical procedures and interventions, such as wound care, suture removal, and injections.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and establish rapport with patients.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing accordingly.
– Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
– Current CPR certification.
– Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
