Preferred Health Partners (PHP) is founded and run by independent Primary Care physicians with concierge medicine experience. Physician Assistant – Concierge Internal Medicine (Part-Time: Thursdays & Fridays)Austin, TX

We are a concierge internal medicine practice seeking a capable, thoughtful, and reliably responsive Physician Assistant to partner with the physician in delivering comprehensive, proactive, evidence-based care.

This role is ideal for a PA who values preparation, follow-through, clinical reasoning, and patient relationships over visit volume. While the PA may see patients when the physician’s schedule is full, much of the role involves clinical preparation, inbox management, care coordination, and longitudinal follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• See patients independently when appropriate
• Prepare upcoming visits by reviewing prior notes, ensuring follow-up of open items, and drafting assessments and plans
• Manage non-visit-based clinical care (e.g., preventive care planning, medication questions, travel medicine, pre-op labs, abnormal results)
• Ensure health maintenance and ACO/quality metrics are addressed
• Manage inbox items including refills, portal messages, and test results
• Review hospital records, coordinate with hospitalists and specialists, and support care transitions
• Use medical AI tools (e.g., Open Evidence, DoximityGPT) to support evidence-based care
