OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine clinic with 19 providers. Our clinic has been providing care to patients in central Texas for over 90 years. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to perform various medical tasks efficiently. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing treatment, and ensuring comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Manage medical records and maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assist in hospice palliative medicine, providing compassionate care for patients with terminal illnesses.
- Treat patients with multiple chronic conditions on an acute basis.
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license and certification from an accredited program.
- Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems.
- Experience in hospice palliative medicine is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $112,596.00 – $118,609.00 per year
