Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – (No Nights, No Weekends, No Calls)

As part of the Diagnostic Pain Center Provider Team, an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides the highest quality of care to patients suffering from chronic and acute pain. The APP manages health problems, coordinates patient care according to state and federal rules and regulations, and DPC’s collaborative best standard of care in this evolving and exciting field. Rewardingly, we improve patients’ quality of life every day.

Compensation:

The DPC compensation package offers a competitive base salary +Monthly Bonus + Signing Bonus. Physician-owned and growing, if desired, there is room for motivated individuals to grow alongside us.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary
  • Administer medicines and treatments
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications
  • Consult with healthcare professionals
  • Engage in ongoing advanced procedure education
  • Collaborate with other providers to build a center of excellence

Job Requirements, Skills & Expertise:

  • Degree from an accredited NP or PA Program
  • Texas NP or PA License
  • Texas Medical Board Certification
  • DEA license
  • NPI number
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Strong computer skills and ability to effectively navigate Electronic Medical Records
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to think independently and make sound decisions
  • Desire to grow and learn in this fast-paced and evolving field of medicine
