Full Job Description
Duties: -Primary Provider for wound care and hyperbaric treatment to patients with acute or chronic wounds – Assess and monitor wound healing progress – Cleanse and dress wounds according to established protocols – Administer medications and treatments as prescribed – Develop and implement comprehensive wound care plans – Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies – Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely – Maintain a clean and sterile environment for wound care procedures
Experience: -Knowledge of medical office procedures, including triage and patient intake processes –
Skills: – Strong clinical assessment skills to evaluate wounds and determine appropriate treatment plans – Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members – Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to treatment protocols – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment – Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology related to wound care
