NextGen Medical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing family practice and Department of Labor (DOL) clinic in Arlington, Texas. About the Role

As a Physician Assistant at NextGen Medical, you’ll provide care to a diverse patient population, including both primary care and occupational injury cases under the Department of Labor (DOL). You will work closely with a collaborative, high-performing medical team and have opportunities to grow your clinical skills in minor procedures and integrative care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary and occupational healthcare services to patients of all ages
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct physical exams, functional assessments, and DOL injury evaluations
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans
  • Perform minor in-office procedures such as joint and trigger point injections
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications within Texas scope of practice guidelines
  • Maintain accurate, timely charting in the EMR system
  • Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists when necessary
  • Ensure proper documentation for all DOL-related cases
  • Participate in team meetings, quality improvement processes, and case reviews
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education and training

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Physician Assistant License (Required)
  • NCCPA Certification (Required)
  • Active DEA license or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in family practice, urgent care, or occupational medicine preferred
  • New PA or NP graduates are encouraged to apply – mentorship and training available
  • Skills in joint or trigger point injections are a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, integrative care

Pay: $118,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
