Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in various settings. This role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and communicating with the medical team.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician.
- Maintain accurate medical records following ICD-10 coding standards.
- Thorough documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Assist in maintaining smooth clinic flow.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and therapies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant license and certification from an accredited program.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in triage, discharge planning, and patient assessment.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and supporting patients through their treatment journeys.
- Strong computer skills (EHR, typing, basic administrative)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $450.00 – $500.00 per day
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
