Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and health education to patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals in various settings, including clinics and teaching hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as IV infusion, cardiac catheterization, and family planning services.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Manage patient follow-ups through telehealth services when appropriate.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist in the management of durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience or training in health coaching is preferred.
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and infection control measures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Experience working in a clinic or teaching hospital setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $113,010.00 – $117,469.00 per year
