Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including senior care facilities and telehealth environments. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, medical coding, and the ability to perform essential medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage family planning services, including counseling and education.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper coding for billing purposes.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with medical practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
• Experience or familiarity with senior care practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical coding and documentation processes is a plus.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $116,173.00 – $122,821.00 per year
