Senior Physician Assistant

Location: Nashville, TN (Travel Required)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physician Assistant with 10+ years of professional experience to oversee the comprehensive healthcare needs of two multi-generational families, including children and elderly parents. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who will serve as the central healthcare advocate for all family members, ensuring seamless management and coordination of their medical and wellness needs.

Position Overview:

The Senior Physician Assistant will be responsible for managing and consolidating all healthcare-related activities and information for the families. The ideal candidate will ensure timely communication with healthcare providers, consolidate and analyze test results and treatment histories, manage pharmaceuticals and prescriptions, and act as a liaison and advocate for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Healthcare Oversight: Coordinate and oversee all healthcare activities for both families, ensuring top-tier medical care and wellness for each member.
  • Data Consolidation: Maintain a centralized and up-to-date system for healthcare records, including test results, prescription information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Healthcare Advocacy: Serve as the primary advocate for the families in all medical interactions, including attending appointments, liaising with healthcare providers, and navigating healthcare systems.
  • Preventive Care Management: Proactively coordinate routine checkups, screenings, vaccinations, and wellness plans.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange medical resources and support for family members during domestic and international travel.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the go-to professional for managing urgent and emergency healthcare needs.
  • Pharmaceutical Oversight: Track and manage prescription renewals, medication schedules, and interactions.
  • Education and Guidance: Provide clear communication and guidance to family members on medical matters, treatments, and wellness plans.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a practicing Physician Assistant in family or multi-specialty medicine. Experience with pediatrics, geriatrics, or chronic illness management is a plus.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program; current licensure in Tennessee.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Expertise in medical record management and health IT systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare systems and advocate effectively.
  • Capacity to travel as needed to support family members.
  • Other: Proven ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary between $125,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience.
