Position Overview: We are looking for a compassionate, driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at the Nashville CARES Clinic. This role is crucial in our efforts to deliver inclusive sexual health services, including HIV prevention and care, STI treatment, and gender-affirming care. Located in the heart of Nashville, this position offers the opportunity to work both in our outpatient clinic and in the community via our mobile medical unit.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care and treatment, including physical exams, evaluations, and prescribing medications.
  • Engage in patient and community education efforts focusing on prevention and early detection of HIV and other STIs.
  • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain meticulous records in our EMR system, AthenaHealth, and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including the 340B program.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program with 4-6 years’ experience at minimum
  • Experience in HIV care, STI treatment, and gender-affirming care is preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong dedication to our mission are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
