Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team at Cutting Edge Foot and Ankle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in podiatry or orthopedics, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Collaborate with the supervising physician to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Perform various procedures related to podiatric and orthopedic care, such as wound care, injections, and ingrown toenail removal.
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive measures, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient progress notes, treatment plans, and correspondence with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols and practices.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Tenness.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in podiatry and orthopedics.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (eclinicalworks) systems and medical billing practices.
