PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT – CARDIOLOGY PREFERREDCOMMUNITY

ROLE

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams, in the outpatient and/or inpatient setting.
  • Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate within the APP’s scope of practice.
  • Assist in the management of patients with conditions such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary cardiology team to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Assist in procedures such as stress testing, catheterizations, or other interventional procedures, if applicable.

SKILLS

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • National certification in Family, Adult, Acute Care, or Cardiology (preferred).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Have an active, non-probationary state license
  • Be highly collaborative & enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
