Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on dermatological conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in an outpatient dermatology clinic.
- Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, providing appropriate management plans.
- Perform procedures such as specimen collection processing and basic dermatological treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in dermatology.
Experience
- Previous experience in outpatient care is preferred, particularly in dermatology or related fields.
- Skills in patient care, including the ability to perform medical-surgical procedures and manage specimen collection processing.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
