The South College School of Physician Assistant Studies Program in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking highly motivated individual for the part-time position of Physician Assistant Clinical Administrator. The PA Clinical Administrator for the School of Physician Assistant Studies at South College provides administrative support to the Clinical team of the Physician Assistant Studies program. Professional duties will include but not limited to general office duties, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work as part of a team. Individual must project an ongoing professional image through daily contact with students and faculty. This is a part-time position.

The Mission of the South College Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies program is to educate highly qualified Physician Assistants, preparing them to become competent, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare providers for clinical practice in rural and urban areas, focusing on underserved communities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Administrative duties as assigned to include photocopying, faxing and electronic records review

2. Credentialing students

3. Maintain student database and profiles

4. Maintain and review evaluations

5. Maintain minutes for committee meetings.

6. Effectively communicate with faculty, staff and students and alumni

7. Act as a liaison and representative of the program and college.

8. In conjunctions with the Director of Clinical Education, credential students for standard rotations.

Requirements:

1. College level course work preferred

2. Proven competency in computers. Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

3. Knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures

4. Strong interpersonal skills, networking, verbal, and written skills.

5. Fluency in English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation

6. Good Organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as a team environment

7. Education: BS or BA degree
