Overview: Join our dedicated and innovative team at KCA Neurology, a leading neurology clinic known for our commitment to patient care and a supportive work environment. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Provider (either Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) who is ready to work autonomously in our beautifully decorated office, flooded with natural light, designed to offer a comforting and healing atmosphere for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and evaluate patients with various neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
- Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
- Collaborate with the neurology team to plan for patient care.
- Advocate for health promotion and disease prevention with patients.
- Offer guidance and counseling to patients and their families on health-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in neurology or a closely related field.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
