Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant delivers primary medical care to a wide variety of patients; responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The Physician Assistant leads clinic staff to deliver excellent patient care and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Responsibilities:

• Lead clinic staff, in behaviors, actions and attitude (e.g. US Technologists, MA’s, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care
• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
• Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, as well as responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions
• Assists with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

• Physician Assistant license (Required).
• 2+ years’ Physician Assistant experience with a valid physician assistant license.
• Prior healthcare experience.
