In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients, collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your contributions will directly support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services, enhancing the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions effectively
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Adhere to best practices and comply with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
Schedule: 2p-12:30a, 6p-4:30a, or 12p-12a
Patient Volume: 20-25 admissions per night
Duties: Admissions and cross-cover for acute issues on the floor
Support Staff: MD on call, APPs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
