Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our transformational healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be skilled in various medical practices, including senior care and telehealth services. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Administer medications and treatments, including tube feeding and phlebotomy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Manage patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Participate in utilization review processes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Offer telehealth services as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
- Assist in senior care initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of comfort and health for elderly patients.
- Support emergency response efforts as necessary, drawing on clinical experience when required.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited program.
- Physician Assistant Degree from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with a valid state license.
- Experience in medical office settings preferred, particularly in senior care or emergency medicine.
- Proficiency in performing procedures such as dialysis is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Pay: $117,879.00 – $125,749.00 per year
