Full Job Description
We are an independent rheumatology practice located in Chattanooga, Tennessee with a satellite location in nearby Cleveland, Tennessee seeking a qualified PA-C. The ideal candidate has 2+ year(s) experience of hands-on patient care, with an interest in treating rheumatologic and inflammatory disorders. Responsibilities include examination and treatment of patients, prescribing and monitoring of medications, ordering and interpreting appropriate tests with physician supervision. Candidate must be reliable to work at least 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) in an office setting; no hospital work. There is rotating call coverage by phone.
Qualifications:
* Valid Tennessee Physician Assistant and DEA Licenses
* Current BLS Certification
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, knowledge of diagnostic studies
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to move and manipulate patients
* Computer literacy, including electronic medical records experience
