Nephrology Associates is the only Kidney Specialist that has served the Southeast area for over 50 years. Our physicians are all board-certified and lead a team of over 100 clinical, technical and administrative personnel.
Our Practice is growing, and we are looking to add a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant. The position requires:
- The primary role of the candidate will involve working interdependently with our physician to evaluate, diagnose, and manage kidney-related conditions for both new and established patients while providing educational support.
- Obtains medical histories, organizes relevant data, performs physical examinations, and suggests pertinent laboratory, radiographic or other studies that are needed to establish or support a diagnosis.
- Maintain documentation for patient care accurately and effectively.
- Evaluating and treating problems.
- Communicate effectively with the primary team/provider and call for consultations, as necessary.
- Must be able to be an independent thinker and can make decisions with confidence.
- Ability to be credentialed at affiliated hospitals.
- Must be good with computers and have strong typing skills.
- Current TN license is required.
- MSN
- Experience in Nephrology a plus, but not required.
- This position will work in the Chattanooga area hospitals.
