Nurse Practitioner Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients across various age groups. This role requires a strong commitment to patient wellness and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including pediatrics.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and specimen collection processing.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and families about health management, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform procedures as needed, including vital signs assessment and neonatal ventilator management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Ability to perform specimen collection processing efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
