Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) | South Dakota (SD) – Rural Primary Care Clinic Summary Specialty: Family Medicine Physicians Assistant Practice Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic Location: Rapid City, South Dakota Schedule: Same Day Clinic NPs (4) Clinic hours are 7:00 AM 7:30 PM Schedule: Available to work weekends, evenings, and rotating schedules Patient Volume: Approximately 18-25 patients per day ALL Ages Types of Cases: Preventive care, chronic condition management, acute illnesses, minor injuries, follow-up care, splinting, and suturing. For higher-acuity cases, EMS rapid response is available, with transfer to the Monument Health ER located approximately 8 minutes away. On-Site Support and Services: On Fridays and Mondays, additional specialties include Orthopedics, Podiatry, Dental, and Optometry. The clinic also offers a full pharmacy, radiology services including CT, ultrasound, MRI, and lab services, along with dietitian/nutrition services, behavioral health, pediatrics, and womens health. On weekends, the lab and radiology remain available. Every day, providers are supported by RN care managers, case management, a CTSA (scheduler), and CMA/LPN staff. Requirements: South Dakota State PA license or willingness to obtain NCCPA Certified Physicians Assistant BLS COVID-19 compliant required We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider ( Physicians Assistant ) who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities.
