Overview
Physician’s Services Group (PSG) is seeking a part-time Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage throughout the Charleston, SC area. This role offers flexibility, provider autonomy, and the opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes within post-acute and skilled nursing environments.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Part-Time | Flexible Weekday Schedule
- Float coverage across Skilled Nursing and Post-Acute Care facilities in the Charleston region
- No nights or weekends required
- Collaborative clinical environment with interdisciplinary support
- Opportunity for additional regional coverage and schedule expansion
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive post-acute and primary care services
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and preventative care strategies
- Partner with facility staff to improve continuity of care and reduce hospitalizations
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Support quality patient outcomes through proactive care management

Qualifications
- Active South Carolina NP or PA license, or ability to obtain
- Board Certified (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA, or equivalent)
- Strong clinical judgment and EMR documentation skills
- Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, hospital medicine, or primary care preferred
- Ability to work independently across multiple facilities
- Passion for geriatric and preventative care
