Integrated Medical Weight Loss (IMWL) is a medical weight loss practice located in East Greenwich, RI. IMWL takes a whole person approach to help people achieve their weight loss goals. We have an integrated approach to reaching healthy weight & wellness that incorporates Mind-Body Medicine with medication management, healthy behaviors, addressing medical problems & lifestyle changes. We provide a comforting and supportive environment to everyone that comes through our door.
We are looking for providers to join our multidisciplinary team, specializing in Weight Loss, which would include but is not limited to a prescriber familiar with weight loss medications. Services can be provided by a mix of telehealth services and some in office work hours.
The Prescriber should be proficient at prescribing all possible medications that may assist a patient with weight loss. Experience with weight loss medication or with psychiatric medications or diabetic medications strongly desired. Position will be focused on prescribing with lifestyle/behavioral counseling.
Prescribing will take place within a group of providers, all treating weight, eating, appetite and metabolism issues but each group member can have their own focus or emphasis. A Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, MD or DO will all be considered for this position.
Salary amounts listed on this posting are negotiable.
RHODE ISLAND NP, PA, MD or DO License Required
