Physician Assistant (PA) – Non-Opioid Pain Management

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. As a key member of our practice, you will work alongside our expert physicians to deliver comprehensive pain management care, focusing on non-opioid treatment modalities. This is a unique opportunity for a PA who is passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives while advancing their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Perform a variety of pain management procedures, including but not limited to, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and regenerative medicine therapies.
  • Educate patients on non-opioid pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and alternative therapies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in Rhode Island.
  • NCCPA certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of non-opioid pain management techniques and alternative therapies.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to perform a wide range of procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in pain management.
