Full Job Description

Care New England, a fully integrated health system serving residents throughout Rhode Island, is seeking a part time ( 28 hours per week) wound and ostomy nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at the Wound Recovery and Hyperbaric Medicine Center, located on the Kent Hospital campus in Warwick, RI.

Highlights

  • Join team of two physicians providing outpatient and inpatient care
  • Part time daytime work hours with no call, weekends or holidays
  • 5-8 patients per day
  • Patient ostomy and nursing wound/ostomy teaching
  • Inpatient wound care and ostomy consults at Kent Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital
  • Outpatient care pre- and post-surgery
  • Recent wound and ostomy experience required.

OUR HISTORY

Kent Hospital is a 359-bed, nonprofit, acute care hospital serving approximately 300,000 residents of Warwick, West Warwick, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, Coventry and parts of North Kingstown, Exeter and Cranston, Rhode Island.

Kent is located on 57 acres in the Toll Gate section of Warwick (11 miles south of Providence) and is the second largest single-site hospital in the state.
