Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties:– Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, administering injections, and inhalation therapy- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options- Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices and technologies
Requirements:- Valid Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license in Rhode Island- Master’s degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant from an accredited program- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and interpretation of test results- Knowledge of various healthcare systems and their applications- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
