OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our dynamic, award-winning healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in Dermatological care, with a strong background in patient assessment, medical procedures, and skin treatments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive Dermatological services within a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems and engaging in clinical initiatives. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through precise diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and assessment of dermatological conditions.
- Perform Dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and liquid nitrogen treatments with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Administer injections, including intralesional Kenalog treatments, and manage post-procedure care to optimize results.
- Manage patient care plans by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across hospital settings, outpatient clinics, and telehealth platforms.
- Utilize EMR systems such as EMA, diagnostic testing portals, or radiology portals for accurate data collection, documentation, and medical records management.
- Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Skills
- Extensive experience with dermatological procedures including excisions, shave and punch biopsies, advanced suturing techniques.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as EMA for comprehensive data management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to Dermatology, and physiology of skin conditions.
- Skilled in performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations for various skin disorders.
- Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to Dermatological procedures and treatments.
- Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about treatment plans and skin health maintenance strategies.

Pay: $135,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
