Pain Center of Rhode Island, led by Dr. Blanki Cheubini, is at the forefront of regenerative medicine, committed to transforming patients’ lives with innovative, non-opioid pain management treatments. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care through cutting-edge, holistic approaches.Position Overview: We are looking for a warm, friendly, and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with us as we expand our services, working approximately 36 hours per week and potential for additional hours as our practice continues to grow.Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and perform physical exams.
- Develop and execute individualized, non-opioid treatment plans in collaboration with our physicians.
- Provide patient education on wellness and alternative pain management strategies.
- Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and regenerative medicine therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Document patient care thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Performs other clinical duties as required.
- Orders and reviews laboratory studies as well as diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active NP or PA license in good standing in Rhode Island, with a valid DEA license.
- NCCPA certification required.
- 3+ years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or related fields preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and experience with non-opioid pain management.
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus!
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
