OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge and the ability to perform various clinical tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as annual skin exams, biopsies, Botox for hyperhidrosis and biologic injection treatments.
- Manage patient care in various settings, including geriatrics and telehealth environments.
- Utilize EMR for electronic health records management, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.
- Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on urgency and medical necessity.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate billing practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice.
- Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Prognosis or EMA, is advantageous.
- Ability to ventilate patients when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in emergency procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Previous experience in dermatology is a must.

Pay: $114,713.00 – $128,035.00 per year
